Eligibility, Submissions and Entry Fee:
Anyone may enter. No more than five
photographs may be submitted by any photographer. A nonrefundable
entry fee of $5.00 is required for each photograph submitted
for jurying. Cash or check will be accepted.
Make checks payable to P. S. F. Photo Competition.
Specifications:
Any combination of black and white,
color or digital prints (limit of five) may be submitted.
Only photographic processes will be accepted. All work
submitted must be original, completed in the last three
years and not previously exhibited in a Paducah Summer
Festival Photo exhibition. There are no size restrictions,
however, all entries must be ready for gallery presentation.
Work that is not framed and ready to hang with wire will
not be accepted!
Presentation will be considered as
a factor by the juror in the selection of the winning entries.
Black frames and white mats are usually preferable. Identification
forms must be firmly attached to the top left corner on
the back of each piece.
Receiving:
Entries will be accepted (hand delivered
or shipped) from April 28 through July 7, Monday through
Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm at the Paducah Area Chamber
of Commerce located in the Commerce Center, 401 Kentucky
Ave., Paducah, KY 42001. Please note that the Chamber office
will be closed on Memorial Day, May 26 and Independence
Day, July 4.
Notification and Return:
All entries selected for exhibition
will be posted to the web site paducahphoto.com by July
15. Any entry that is not listed may be picked up at the
Commerce Center after July 21. Entries accepted for exhibition
may be picked up after September 2.
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE CLAIMED BY SEPTEMBER

UPS, Fed-Ex or Parcel Post return
shipments will be made only if return shipping and insurance
costs are remitted or arranged in advance with the entry
fee.
Notice:
Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce,
Tribeca Mexican Cuisine and the Paducah Summer Festival
will take all due care in the handling of entries but cannot
accept any financial liability for loss or damage of any
entry.
Directions:
Please read and fill out the provided
forms completely. Entry tags must be attached to the upper
left corner on back of entry. Entries will be accepted
only if they are framed and ready to hang, accompanied
by completed entry forms and entry fee.
Disclaimer:
The Paducah Summer Festival Photo
Competition is a juried competition. All entry fees are
nonrefundable. There is no assurance implied that any given
entry or group of entries will be juried into the show
and included for display in the final exhibition.
